This cable is used in underground and outdoor conditions for high voltage power transmission and distribution. It has a light structure thanks to the aluminum conducting vessel, and the armored construction provides resistance against mechanical effects. The production of the outer covering from non-flammable PVC (Y-fl) material increases fire safety and is fully suitable for use in industrial facilities.
Structure of the cable:

  • Conductor - multi-stranded round clipped aluminum wires, IEC 60228, class 2

    • Round formal vessel for 25–1000 mm²

    • Sector formal vein for 1000–1600 mm²

  • Inner screen - extruded semi-conductive polyethylene

  • Insulation – XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene)

  • Outer semi-conductive layer – semi-conductive polyethylene tape

  • Screen – copper tape and wires

    • min for 25–120 mm². 16 mm²

    • min for 150–300 mm². 25 mm²

    • Min for 400–1000 mm². 35 mm²

    • min for 1200 mm² and above. 50 mm²

  • Separating layer – PETF tape

  • Inner coating – PVC (polyvinyl chloride)

  • Armour – aluminum wires (R(AL))

  • External coating – flame retardant PVC (Y-fl)

  • Heat tolerance

    • Normal working temperature: +90°C

    • Short-term loading: +130°C

    • Short circuit (5 s): +250°C
