Gewiss GW10247AB is a 2P+E socket according to the French standard. Designed for 250V AC voltage and 16A current. It is equipped with a safety curtain for children. The device withstands 10,000 on-close cycles. The terminal is screw-type and suitable for both solid and twisted cables (twisted: 0.75–2×4 mm², solid: 0.75–2×4 mm²). Insulation resistance > 5 MΩ, withstand test voltage 2000 V/50 Hz/1 minute. Cable tensile strength is > 50 N. Glow wire test 850 °C, thermal pressure test 125 °C confirmed. Made of antibacterial technopolymer material, 99% of bacteria are reduced within 24 hours by treatment with silver ions (ISO 22196 certified). Glossy White color offers a modern design.
